Mega Maths Day!

All the children at Newtown C of E Primary School took part in a national Number Day on Friday 2nd February. The whole school worked in their house teams to solve mathematical problems and earn valuable house points. 

 

We asked a few of the Year 6 children for some feedback and this is what they said:
Edward – I wish it was number day every Friday!
Archie – It was the most amazing maths lesson ever!
Ava – It was fun to do something different.
J’dynn – It’s good to spend time with people that are in our house
Riley – It was exciting to earn house points through maths
Harvey – Can we do it every day?
