Reading Buddies

Here at Newtown, some of our local Church congregation visit the school to read with our pupils. They are known in school as Reading Buddies. These volunteers come in regularly and help them progress through the reading bands.

Our Church friends are also very active in volunteer work at some of our events such as the Summer and Christmas Fayre.
