Transition Events 2025

Parents will be notified of their child's allocated school in April 2025.

We will then write to all parents to welcome them to the Newtown C of E Primary School family and detail all our Ready Steady School programme transition events for you and your child to attend to ensure your child starts school happy and familiar with the new environment.

This will be confirmed in the new year.

School Tours

Come and meet Mrs Howlett, our Headteacher at our school tours and join us to see our wonderful school in action! Coffee, cake and welcome goody bags provide.

Tours are available throughout the Autumn & Spring terms on the following dates:

• Wednesday 6th November 2024, 9:30am - 10:30am

• Tuesday 19th November 2024, 5pm - 6pm
• Thursday 28th November 2024, 9:30am - 10:30am
• Wednesday 8th January 2025, 9:30am - 10:30am

Special Events

There will be a special event organised every month for you and your child to attend, until your child starts school with us. Here are the first two events:

Nursery Rhyme-Time Event

Join us for our annual, grand sing-along event on Thursday 7th November 3:30pm - 4:30pm. Perfect for children 6 months to 4 years. This event includes an afternoon tea for all the family!

Christmas Craft Event

Join us for a Christmas craft extravaganza on Wednesday 4th December, 3:30pm - 4:30pm. This event includes snacks and refreshments for all the family! To book your FREE tickets for any of the forthcoming special events, please call the school office on 02392 584048.

If you are unable to make any of the tour or event dates, please call the school office and we will organise a bespoke tour for you and your family.
