Early Years - Mrs Watson, Mrs Berry, Miss Radford.

Welcome to year R. We are the Dragonflies and Grasshoppers classes.

The staff who work in Early years are: Mrs Berry, Mrs Watson, Miss Radford, Mrs Halsey, Mrs Walsh and Mrs Scott.

Please feel free to talk about your child with any of the Early Years staff in the morning, or after school.

We love celebrating your child's achievements and you are always welcome to see what we have been learning.

First Steps

In Year R the children have been learning about the first stages of mark making which leads to 'writing'

We learnt the stripe, stripe, dot, dot, dot song and then had a go at recording this.

The children learn to work from left to right, space markings and start new lines.
