How to apply - late applications
Parents seeking to apply after 15 January 2019 can apply online. Parents who do not wish to apply online can request a Late Year R Application form. Completed Year R applications handed in to schools after the deadline will be date stamped and marked ‘LATE’, checked and forwarded to the Admissions Team immediately.
Exceptional Circumstances - If you believe that there are exceptional circumstances that we should know about concerning a late application received before 16 April 2019, please contact the Admissions Team, as we may be able to treat it as on-time.
We have a variety of open events that can prepare your child to start at Newtown C of E Primary School.
Once you have applied:
All parents will be notified of their child's school place on 16th April 2019. The school will then contact all families with children starting with us in September 2019 to make you aware of all the wonderful transition events that will prepare you and your children for September 2019. These events will include:
- New Year R Pupils Parents’ Evening – April 2019
- After school drop-in sessions – May 2019
- Stay & Play in Class - June 2019
- Home visits – July 2019
